New York slices, twenty-inch pies. A neighborhood pizzeria on the corner of Nassau & Diamond. 72-hour fermented dough, hand-stretched rounds, no shortcuts.
Who we are
Diamond Slice is a husband-and-wife neighborhood pizzeria in Greenpoint, Brooklyn, run by Peter and Marta. It started after closing time at their Clinton Hill cafe, Calyer — a 2023 Friday-night pop-up called After Hours Pizza that people kept coming back for. It outgrew the cafe and found a permanent home on the corner of Diamond and Nassau. Peter and Marta both grew up in the neighborhood and are proudly Polish American; that heritage shows up on the menu, like the Zapiekanka Pie built from the classic Polish street food. The idea has never changed: make the pizza better every day.
How the pizza is made
- 72+ hour fermentation — dough built on a natural sourdough starter for flavor, texture and digestibility.
- American flour + fresh-milled wheat — good American flour blended with whole wheat milled in house. No bromate.
- California crushed tomatoes — peak-season, seasoned simply with sea salt and herbs.
- Cheese done right — Grande mozzarella for the melt; pecorino and parm grated fresh from the wheel.
- Premium meats — house-made fennel sausage, Ezzo pepperoni, carefully sourced meats.
- Made in house — fresh-fried cutlets, house dressings, dips and sauces.

- Tomato ($5 slice / $29 pie) — crushed California tomatoes, garlic, oregano, breadcrumbs, olive oil. Vegan.
- Cheese ($5 / $29) — tomato, pecorino, whole-milk mozzarella, basil & parm.
- Pepperoni ($6 / $34) — Ezzo pepperoni, mozzarella, basil & parm. Best seller.
- White Ricotta ($6 / $32) — roasted garlic cream, mozzarella, fresh mozzarella, ricotta.
- Mushroom ($6 / $36) — roasted garlic cream, mozzarella, ricotta, sautéed mushrooms.

- Caesar Pie ($38) — white pie, romaine, anchovy caesar, breadcrumbs, parmigiano.
